A Visit to Neiman Marcus, Walnut Creek CA.

I wasn’t feeling too inspired today and I woke up feeling groggy. Trying to lift up my spirits, I decided to take a trip to Walnut Creek, CA. My plan was to go “window” shopping for some new spring attire. Luckily, I had remembered that Neiman Marcus just opened about two weeks ago and I was dying to see the new store. Walking in, I am instantly greeted with smiles and hello’s from the sales associate. For a retailer like Neiman Marcus, expect to recieve impeccable customer service. Also, be prepared to buy at least one item. Because I swear their customer service is so good, you’ll feel bad if you don’t buy something.

Tory Burch @ Neiman Marcus

I immediately head straight to the shoes. Literally, I gasp and my face lights up like it was Christmas morning. I have died and went to shoe heaven. I started off at the Tory Burch table where the signature flats and new platforms were on display. The mix of mod/vintage Cali style makes Tory Burch one of my new favorite labels. My number one on my list is the Tory Burch flats. I’m in love with the camel skin color flats and I’m dying to buy a pair.

Miu Miu is a label that I’ve been constantly following since I was twelve. I remember cutting out ads from Vogue of Miu Miu and promising that I would own a Miu Miu handbag or heels.

To walk in five inch heels takes practice, ladies. My experience? Ten years. Yowza. These almond toe pumps by Yves Saint Laurent is perfect for a cocktail party or a night out on the town. I would pair it with a pencil dress or just a tank trapeze dress.

Manolo Blahnik’s are obviously a staple for every woman’s shoe collection. And one day, I will for sure have it in my collection. These cute patent leather red peep toe sling backs caught my eye for some reason. I usually don’t buy this style, but I find it bold and cute!

It’s spring, and espadrilles and corkscrew wedges are in. These Diane Von Furstenburg platforms are be-a-yoo-ti-full. I love nude and coral colored shoes for spring. They go with anything Spring!

Lastly, I had to stop by Chanel’s display. Sighhh, I love these pumps. I have a loving relationship with round toe leather pumps, and these are just to-die-for.

It’s terrible that I have such an expensive taste in shoes. I’m this twenty-something college student who only dreams of owning such treasures. The rest of Neiman Marcus was exquisite as well. A beautiful showcase of fashion’s current styles. I fell in love again. :) -Daisy
